FORT SMITH, Arkansas -

Fifteen-year-old Triston Stephens was laid to rest Friday, just days after he committed suicide at school.

Triston was a 9th grader at Coweta's Intermediate High School.

Funeral services were held Friday morning in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Additional school counselors have been on hand at the Intermediate High all week, after Triston shot and killed himself inside a school bathroom on Monday morning.

It may never be clear why he chose to end his life, but some classmates say he had been bullied by other kids at school.
