The Undersheriff tells News 9 the Medical Examiner's Office finally made a positive DNA match on Salazar's body after taking samples from both his daughter and a brother. He states the M.E. has listed the cause of death as unknown at this time, due to how decomposed the body was when it was found.

Investigators say information they have received so far strongly supports the continued investigation into Salazar's death as a homicide.

Anyone who has information about Salazar's death should call the Sheriff's Office at (405)-701-8888.
