OKLAHOMA CITY -

An Oklahoma City woman has asked for police to get involved in the search for her dog that went missing two Friday's ago.

"Bella" is a six-year-old Chihuahua. Her owner, Rae Dawn Kornmaier, says Bella wandered away when she let the dog out to use the bathroom.

Kornmaier said Bella turned up at a neighbor's home hours later. She said that neighbor gave the dog to another friend, who gave Bella to his girlfriend.

Kornmaier says that woman denies she has the dog.

"I strongly believe she has spent money on my dog, and she doesn't want to give her back, "she said.

We went to the woman's home Monday evening. A woman who identified herself as a house sitter told us the woman is out of town.

Kornmaier said her dog has severe asthma, and has to take medication to control seizures.
