The Edmonton Oilers, parent club of the Oklahoma City Barons, recalled winger Magnus Paajarvi from Oklahoma City on Feb. 3.

Paajarvi was assigned to Oklahoma City January 31 and played in the Barons' 7-3 win over Charlotte on February 1. The 6-2, 204-pounder from Norrkoping, Sweden has played 126 games in the NHL with Edmonton, scoring 42 points (17-25-42). Paajarvi will join the Oilers in Edmonton as they prepare to take on Vancouver Monday.

Paajarvi was the Oilers 1st round draft choice (10th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft has played in 72 games for the Barons over the last two seasons, recording 45 points (11-34-45).

The Barons return to action this weekend (Friday, Feb. 8 and Saturday, Feb. 9) with two home games against the Grand Rapids Griffins. Faceoff for both games is 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center.
