Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics agents have completed a second drug sweep in two days and arrested 16 people in the Lawton area on charges of distributing methamphetamine in southwestern Oklahoma.
OBN spokesman Mark Woodward says agents joined by Lawton police, Comanche County deputies and agents with three Drug Task Forces began making arrests about 6 a.m. Friday following an investigation that began in October 2011. He says two suspects were still being sought.
The sweep comes a day after the OBN and local authorities arrested 18 people in eastern Oklahoma and 1 in Texas on similar charges.
Woodward says the remaining two suspects being sought in that investigation have been in contact with authorities and are expected to surrender by next week.
