A man arrested for firing a gun at the "Little Darlings Club" in Valley Brook early Saturday morning made himself a hot dog while people ran for cover.

An officer said he was in the 1600 block of S.E. 59th Street when he heard two gunshots. The officer believed the shots were fired from the area of the Little Darlings Club.

Witnesses told police that 24-year-old An Minh Nguyen was the man with gun. They said Nguyen fired two shots into the air with a handgun, and tossed the gun under his vehicle's passenger side headlight.

As the officer tried to talk to Nguyen, he walked over to a nearby food vendor and started eating. The officer said Nguyen appeared to be intoxicated, and he smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverage and an odor of brunt marijuana on Nguyen's person.

Police did find the gun under Nguyen's car, as well as marijuana inside the vehicle. Police say they also found two bullet casings in the trunk hatch of Nguyen's car matching the ammunition retrieved from the gun.

Nguyen was taken to the Oklahoma County Jail on charges of possession of loaded firearm while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, possession of firearm after former felony conviction, and discharging firearm in public place.

No one was injured during the incident.
