Charges have been filed against five people who are accused of breaking into a home in southeast Oklahoma City on Friday, January 18.

Charges have been filed against five people who are accused of breaking into a home in southeast Oklahoma City on Friday, January 18.

The suspects, Michael Todd Renville, Donald Earl Carmon, Steven Lewis Carmon, Roxann Marie Velez, and Amber Lafane Mills, have been charged with one count of first degree burglary.

According to police, the suspects broke into a home, located in the 1500 block of S.E. 45th Street on Friday, January 18. One of the suspects, later identified as Steven Carmon, forced the front door of the home open, and threatened the homeowner with a knife.

However, the homeowner was able to grab her gun and fired one shot at Steven Carmon.

The victim then called police. Steven Carmon was transported to the OU Medical Center in critical condition.

Another suspect, Amber Mills, received non-life threatening injuries to her neck. The three other suspects were taken into custody at the scene, according to police.
