A crash possibly caused by road rage and a drug deal puts two men in the hospital, one in critical condition.

Oklahoma City Police, along with Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers, responded Thursday night to the scene of the accident on Interstate 35 near the 33rd St. Edmond Exit.

According to police, a black vehicle ran the men's silver car off the road. The victims' car rolled over, ejecting the driver. He lost an ear in the crash and suffered several broken bones.

Police say after the accident, both the black vehicle and a red Dodge pickup truck pulled over, and one of the suspects assaulted the passenger of the silver car.

Both suspects climbed into the Dodge and left the scene, leaving the black vehicle behind. Police found the Dodge near the accident scene, and believe the suspects abandoned the vehicle and ran away. However, police later located one suspect. They are still searching for another.

An ambulance rushed both victims to a local hospital. The driver is in critical condition. The passenger's condition, the man who was assaulted after the accident, is unknown.

Troopers did find drugs in the victims' silver car, which leads them to believe a drug deal may have played a part in the crash.
