UCO Students Honor MLK Day By Helping Needy Oklahomans

Over 60 students and staff volunteers from the University of Central Oklahoma spent their Martin Luther King Day giving back to the Regional Food Bank Monday morning.

The UCO Health Communication's class packed boxes at the Regional Food Bank.

"The experience is just great because, I mean, you know you're helping people, but not just people, we're helping Oklahomans," Danielle Hernandez said.

Students say it was great to honor Monday's holiday by helping needy Oklahomans.
