OKC Elementary School Janitor Arrested For Child Sex Crimes

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A metro elementary school employee is charged with four counts of rape against 13-year-old girl.

David Allen Stewart, 20, is being held at the Cleveland County Jail for the crimes.

Western Heights district officials tell News 9 that Stewart worked as a custodian for John Glenn Elementary School for the last three months until he was literally caught with his pants down according to court documents.

Officials are confident the rape victim was not a student there, but the district attorney says the fact that Stewart had close contact to students is quote disturbing.

In a statement the school district tells News 9 that two background checks had been completed on Stewart, saying "Both of Mr. Stewart's background checks came back clean." And that Stewart will no longer be allowed on school property.

In addition to the rape charges, Stewart is also facing one count of assault and battery. Prosecutors believe there were four separate rapes from August 2012 to the beginning of January 2013.
