TU campus police are telling students, staff and visitors to be mindful there's a pair of armed robbers prowling the campus and surrounding neighborhoods.

Eric Angel was walking back from class to his on-campus apartment just after 6 p.m., Thursday, when he noticed the two men following him.

He sped up, hoping to get to the safety of his place, called the Norman Village at 3rd and Delaware.

They moved faster, caught up with him, and forced him into an under-the-stairs alcove.

"Holding the gun in the back of my head and cocked it, so it was ready to go," Angel said.

The two emptied his pockets, told him not to look back, and were finished with him within 90 seconds.

"I was terrified and trying not to set them off. To come out alive was my goal, so I just cooperated and let them take what they wanted," Angel said.

While police were taking Angel's report, a second report came in of another robbery near 11th and Pittsburg.

The suspects matched Angel's robbers: two black men, 6-foot-4 to 6-foot-5, 190 lbs., wearing baggy jeans and one suspect was wearing a red and black hoodie.
