The Oklahoma City Barons will receive center Chris Vandevelde and defensemen Colten Teubert and Taylor Fedun from the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers are the Barons parent club.

Vandevelde, a 6-2, 210-pounder from Moorhead, MN has appeared in 31 games with the Barons this season, scoring nine points (1-8-9). He is the Barons all-time leader in games played (166) and has registered 48 points (20-28-48) in his tenure with the Barons. The Oilers 4th round selection (97th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry draft has appeared in 17 games with Edmonton, scoring three points (1-2-3).

Teubert, a 6-4, 210-pounder from White Rock, B.C. has played 36 games with the Barons this season, scoring five points (2-3-5). Drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1st round (13th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, Teubert has played 101 games with the Barons, scoring 22 points (6-16-22). He has played 24 games with the Oilers and has one assist. Fedun, a 6-0, 190-pounder from Edmonton has appeared in 35 games with the Barons this season, scoring nine points (2-7-9).

Fedun participated in the Oilers training camp, but suffered a season-ending injury late in the Oilers preseason in 2012. Prior to signing with the Oilers, Fedun played four seasons at Princeton University, serving as team captain in his final season with the Tigers. In 127 games over four seasons with Princeton, he scored 68 points (20-48-68).

The Barons are in the midst of a five-game homestand. This weekend the Barons skate in back-to-back games against the San Antonio Rampage. Faceoff for both games is 7 p.m.
