Police are hoping the public will lead them to two men who stormed into a Jason's Deli, pointed pistols at employees, and robbed the restaurant.

Police have just released information about the robbery, which occurred December 23 around 10:30 p.m. on E. 33rd Street near S. Boulevard. An employee was taking the trash out for the night when two men armed with guns pushed their way into the back door.

The men ordered all four employees to lie on the ground. They stole cash and cell phones and then ran out of the restaurant.

Employees described both robbers as black males. One robber was in his early 20s with a slight mustache, or possibly a goatee. He stood approximately 6 feet and had an athletic build.

The second armed man was wearing a mask, but witnesses said he had light skin and appeared to be about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a stocky build.

Edmond police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call (405) 359-4336, or to text a tip to 625-TEXT.
