I'm annoyed by teenagers taking all these pictures of themselves, selfies as they're called, they're self-absorbed is what they are.
A survey of College Freshmen shows they think they're more gifted even though test scores don't support that, and they have unrealistic expectations about their future success.
Here's what you had to say about it, Tracy first: "Life will be hard for these individuals when they learn they are not better than everyone else!"
But Evan says: "I'm 18, take selfies, have a 32 on my ACT, and a 4.06 GPA. Selfies are a way of expressing oneself."
From Ray: "My 18 year old just went through a reality check, it hurt me to watch, but I also know that pain means growth... I told her, 'life's hard Princess, you better toughen up'."
Deann writes: "Kids think they are the BEST and therefore why challenge themselves to work harder to be better!"
From Ron: "..kids have been told that they do not lose at anything and are given the self esteem they have not earned."
Bill asks: "Remember when there were winners and losers in sporting events for our kids. What happened? Those losers grew up and had kids!! then decided that there was no such thing as a loser."
Lamar with the parting shot tonight: "..maybe one day these kids will have a camera man follow them around and then we can call what they do 'the news.'"
