OKLAHOMA CITY -
Arctic air will sweep into Oklahoma Saturday and we will
continue very cold until at least Tuesday.
This particular weather pattern in the upper levels of the
atmosphere will squeeze out any moisture that's in the air. So, there's a
chance of drizzle, rain, sleet and snow. On occasion a storm system of
this type can produce significant snow.
The precipitation chances will be gone Saturday night. For
the metro, some rain Saturday morning changing to snow Saturday afternoon is possible. The
ground is quite warm, but slick spots may occur.
Northern Oklahoma will see some lows near 10 degrees with
central Oklahoma and the Metro dropping into the teens. Southern Oklahoma
will also be quite cold with lows near 20 degrees.
