EDMOND, Oklahoma -

Two people are behind bars after Edmond police found marijuana, guns, and thousands of dollars in cash at a home in the 600 block of Holly Hill.

Police executed a search warrant at the home on January 7. When they knocked on the door and announced themselves, no one answered. An officer discovered the door was unlocked and walked into the house. Jesse Ryan Barnard, 26, and Alexis Dawn Payne, 19, were inside the home.

Officers immediately detected a strong odor of marijuana. They searched the house and found more than five pounds of the drug, along drug paraphernalia including scales, baggies, and pipes.

Police also discovered several handguns, rifles and a semi-automatic rifle, along with several stacks of cash totaling $16,075.

Police arrested both Barnard and Payne. Barnard was booked into jail on several complaints including drug possession, intent to distribute, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of drug proceeds.

Payne was booked on suspicion of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession.
