OKLAHOMA CITY -

An Oklahoma City woman has been charged with two counts of kidnapping, and one count of burglary, after police say she stole her children from their father early Thursday.

Misty Hausam, 30, lost custody of her 7-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son three months ago.  Her own family tells News 9 Hausam is addicted to drugs.

Investigators say Hausam crawled through a window of her estranged husband's mobile home near Wellston, and snatched the kids from their bedroom.

Authorities issued an Amber Alert Thursday afternoon.  Hausam and the children were found safe a few hours later in Oklahoma City.

Kristy Bullard is Misty Hausam's step sister.

"I'm very angry.  I was actually afraid for those kids," she said.

When the children's father, Coy Nichols, went to Oklahoma City Police Thursday afternoon to get his kids, he said, "It's just one of those things you don't even know. I still don't know how to explain it."
