Several school bonds and a sales tax extension won voter approval at the polls Tuesday. Oklahoma voters cast ballots Tuesday in special elections for schools and municipalities.

Voters in El Reno overwhelmingly passed a school bond totaling more than $45 million to build a new elementary school, renovate existing schools and buy busses, among other things.

Luther voters defeated a one penny sales tax that would have paid for public improvement projects.

Voters in Ponca City voted to extend an existing half penny sales tax for economic development.
