Authorities have arrested a man who they say robbed a bank in Norman Monday afternoon.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Oklahoma City division, at about 12:33 p.m. Monday, a man walked into the Bank of West branch, located at 2122 W. Main in Norman, and approached a teller with a black bag.

Agents say the man then pulled his hand out concealed in a brown paper bag, and pointed towards the teller demanding money.

The teller complied with the suspect's demand and put money in the black bag. The suspect then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

A short time later, Norman police officers noticed a man matching the description of the suspect driving a gold Dodge Journey near Tecumseh Road and Flood Avenue in Norman.

Officers stopped the vehicle, and found the money and the black bag in the car. The driver, identified as 26-year-old Christopher Lowe, was taken into custody.
