Road Widening Project In Norman Begins

Construction crews will be set up in Norman for the next year as part of a widening project.

The I-35 and Main street ramps you see in red, on the map, are now closed.

Crews are installing a new single-point urban interchange along Main Street, as well as widening I-35 to six lanes in the area.

Four lanes of traffic should be open at all times on I-35.

Construction is expected to be complete by March of 2014.
