Spencer Police Search For Carjacking Suspect

SPENCER, Oklahoma -

Spencer Police are on the lookout for a suspect in a carjacking that took place Wednesday night in the area of NE 23rd and Post Rd.

Police received the call at approximately 8:30 p.m.  The driver, a white female, told police she picked up the suspect, only described as a white male, around 36th St. and West Minster Rd. and gave him a ride to an unknown area.

The victim says when they got to 23rd and Post, the suspect punched her in the face and forced her out of the vehicle with her dog. The car was last seen driving north on Post from 23rd.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Police say they vehicle is a silver 2008 Mazda, with a Texas license plate, number BF9W995. No other details have been released at this time.
