A driver crashed into a detached house New Year's Eve in southwest Oklahoma City. A driver crashed into a detached house New Year's Eve in southwest Oklahoma City.
OKLAHOMA CITY -

A driver begins the new year in a hospital, after crashing his car through a fence and into a homeowner's garage.

Late Monday night, the man was traveling east on S.W. 29th Street when he lost control of his car. The vehicle smashed through a fence and slammed into a detached garage near S.W. 29th Street and Portland.

No one in the house was hurt, but the driver was injured and taken to a local hospital. His condition is not known.

Police aren't sure what caused the driver to lose control.
