OHP: One Killed After Being Hit By Car Near Shawnee

One person was killed after being hit by a car in Pottawatomie County Thursday night, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers were called to the accident at state highway 177 and Macarthur, near Shawnee.

The identity of the victim is unknown at this time. Authorities have not released any information on how the accident occurred or if any charges will be filed.
