Troopers Release New Details On Wreck That Killed Tulsa Woman

More information has been released about a collision that killed a Tulsa woman Saturday, December 22. Lesley Turay, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-car collision on State Highway 16 just outside Muskogee.

After completing their investigation, troopers say Turay died when a car coming in the opposite direction crossed the center line and struck the Tulsa woman's car head on.

The other driver, Muskogee resident Sothea Mcconnell, smelled of alcohol, according to the OHP report. The 23-year-old Mcconnell was critically injured and taken by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital.
