A large fire swept through a home in the 6200 block of S.E. 11th Street in Midwest City, heavily damaging the two-story home.

The fire, located northeast of S.E. 15th Street and Sooner, started after 12:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Firefighters rushed to the scene and discovered smoke pouring from the house, and flames shooting from the roof.

The fire originated in the back of the house, but it's not known how it started.
