OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Oklahoma City Fire Department rushed to an apartment complex near Interstate 240 and Walker to battle a fire Saturday afternoon.

The fire started around 12:30 p.m. at Brighton Place apartments at 7000 S. Walker in Oklahoma City. Crews evacuated some units as they battled the flames.

Firefighters quickly put out the flames, but not before the fire caused some extensive damage to one building.

No one was hurt. It's not known yet how the fire started, or how many residents were displaced.
