Edmond Doctor Accused Of Sexual Harassment Stops Practicing

EDMOND, Oklahoma -

An Edmond doctor arrested on complaints of sexual battery has agreed to surrender his medical license until both his criminal and board cases are decided.

At least two employees accused Dr. Medhat Michael of sexually harassing them. They said he grabbed, fondled, and attempted to kiss them. The women also said Medhat used sexually explicit language around them.

News 9 spoke with Lyle Kelsey, the executive director of the Oklahoma Medical Board of Licensure and Supervision. Kelsey said Michael will stop practicing Friday, December 21.
