Salvation Army Hands Out Toys To Oklahoma Parents In Need

Christmas wishes came true for hundreds of Oklahoma kids on Wednesday.

The Salvation Army gave out unwrapped toys and more than 800 bikes to parents. They organization makes sure all of the kids get something they wanted, along with things they'll need.

The Salvation Army says it is trying to make up for lower donations this year.

"We have about $50,000 less than last year because of various sites we weren't able to serve and ring at earlier in the season," said Maj. Francina Proctor with the Salvation Army.

Feed the Children also donated 1,200 Christmas boxes.
