Head-On Collision In NE OKC Sends Driver To Hospital

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A serious, head-on collision between two vehicles on E. Britton Road just east of Interstate 35 has blocked traffic and sent one person to the hospital.

The crash happened around 7 a.m. on the two-lane road. An SUV and a car collided, but it's not known what caused the crash.

One driver was not hurt, but the other -- a woman -- had to be taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The names of the drivers involved have not been released.
