Firefighters spent more than an hour battling flames at a house fire in Bethany near N.W. 23rd and N. Council Road.

The fire started around noon Thursday in the 7600 block of N.W. 20th Street.

Jim Gardner and Bob Mills SkyNews 9 flew over the scene. They found flames and smoke pouring from the roof of the home.
