The Christmas season is upon us and just in time for our next Road Trip! This month we are visiting Guthrie for their annual Territorial Christmas Celebration.

Guthrie, Oklahoma's first state capitol, has been celebrating Christmas Victorian style as their traditional Territorial Christmas festivities take you back in time to the 19th Century.

News 9 will be in Guthrie to experience the fun on Friday, December 14, enjoying historic Guthrie and taking a look at some of the annual Territorial Christmas favorites.

Come out and see us Friday morning from 8:00am-10:30am at Rick's Fine Chocolates & Coffees, or from 11:00am-2:00pm at the Blue Bell Saloon and Family Restaurant. See our full schedule below for a list of meet and greet times with some of your favorite News 9 anchors!

There really is something for everyone to enjoy this Holiday season in Guthrie. See the beautifully lit downtown buildings, enjoy the live window displays, go on the Historic Homes or Candlelight Trolley Tours, take a carriage ride or take part in the Victorian Walk—no matter what you do there is fun for all!

Beyond that, the historic Pollard Theatre will be performing "A Territorial Christmas Carol" from November 23-December 23.

The Victorian Walk Evenings are on December 8 and 15, and the Candlelight Trolley Tours run on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays in December at 6:00, 7:00 and 8:00pm. For more information on these and other events please visit http://guthrieok.com/CALENDAR.html
