OKC Man Dies Nearly A Week After Shooting

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A man shot in southwest Oklahoma City on November 30 has died from his injuries.

Jose Garcia, 48, and Latosha Hawks, 27, were shot Friday night while sitting inside a car near S.W. 41st Street and Santa Fe. They were both rushed to a hospital in critical condition.

Police learned Wednesday Garcia had died. Investigators say before Garcia and Hawks were shot, they were involved in some type of altercation with two men in a new black Nissan Maxima or VW Passat. It had tinted windows and 20-inch chrome wheels.

Police have not made any arrests and do not have any suspects. They are asking anyone with information to call the Homicide Tip Line at (405) 297-1200. Callers can remain anonymous.
