BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -

A Silver Alert has been canceled for a 74-year-old Broken Arrow man who police say has been located. David E. Kern was found in Tulsa in good shape and has been reunited with family, according to the Broken Arrow Police Department.

Police issued a silver alert Friday because Kern has dementia and is on heart medication.
He had last been seen around 3:30 p.m., Friday, near 622 South Fir Court, in Broken Arrow.

They say Kern was wearing a navy blue sweatshirt and sweat pants and had with him a Chow mix dog, named "Bear."
