Man Attempts To Rape Housekeeper At SW OKC Motel

A housekeeper managed to fight off a would-be rapist who attacked her while she was cleaning a room at a southwest Oklahoma City motel.

On November 16, the woman was cleaning a room at a motel on C.A. Henderson Boulevard near Interstate 240. She said, just before 1:30 p.m., a man wearing a gray sweatshirt and a gray hat walked into the room.

The woman told him to leave, but the suspect told her to be quiet. She said he then grabbed her and tried to kiss her. The woman told police the man pushed her onto the bed and got on top of her.

The woman began to fight and scream. She pushed the suspect away, and he ran out of the room.

A surveillance camera captured video of the man as he ran through the parking lot. Police have released a photo from the video. Although the suspect's face cannot be seen, police are hoping someone will recognize him.
