The SandRidge Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is part of a 40-day series of events, most of which are offered free of charge to the community.
OKLAHOMA CITY -
The holiday season is upon us. Along with Black Friday, the 11th annual Downtown in December kicks off. And, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Downtown in December is 40 days jam-packed with holiday events and activities for all ages. There's the Devon Ice Rink and Chesapeake's Snow-tubing at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. And the mild weather won't put a damper on the activities, since the ice and snow is man-made.
There are a lot of free events too. You can enjoy free movie Mondays, free admission to a different downtown museum every week and Saturdays with Santa. There are also free water taxi rides every Thursday through Sunday in December.
