MWC Toddler Suffers Severe Burns After Accident With Boiling Water

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -

A one-year-old boy in Midwest City suffered burns on over 50 percent of his body after spilling a pot of boiling water on himself, Wednesday afternoon.

Midwest City firefighters responded to the call at the Fairfax apartment complex located at 7829 NE 10th St. just after 2 p.m.

The boy was taken to a local hospital with second and third degree burns on his body. His condition is not known at this time.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of this accident.
