OKLAHOMA CITY -

Kevin Durant had his first career triple-double, getting his 10th assist on a key Kevin Martin three-pointer that turned away a late Golden State rally, as Oklahoma City defeated the Warriors 119-109 Sunday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Durant finished the night with 25 points, 13 rebounds and the 10 assists. Russell Westbrook led the team in scoring, going for 30 points along with seven assists and five steals. Martin had 23 off the bench and continued his hot shooting from three-point land, hitting 5-of-7 from deep.

As a team, the Thunder hit 13-20 from three-point distance and shot 50.6 percent as a team.

Golden State shot 52.4 percent from the field and was led by Stephen Curry with 22 points. David Lee had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Westbrook came out with intensity, scoring 12 first quarter points to stake the Thunder to a 26-25 lead. OKC lead by as many as seven in the first quarter, but with the second units in the game at the end of the first quarter, the Warriors were able to cut into the lead, thanks to six quick points from Draymond Green for Golden State, who had nine in the first half.

Golden State's Richard Jefferson came up lame at the end of the first quarter and left the game with a right calf strain. He didn't return.

The Warriors continued to hang around, taking the lead on an Andris Biedrins hook shot with 9:30 remaining in the half. From that point, the Thunder went on a 19-6 run to take a 50-38 lead, with Martin and Durant both hitting threes to fuel the run.

The Thunder's passing was the big key to the 59-46 halftime lead. OKC had 22 baskets in the first half and assisted on 18 of them, led by Durant's five. Durant also had a double-double at the half.

The Thunder extended their lead throughout the third quarter, eventually opening up a 22-point lead with 11:37 remaining in the game on a three-pointer from Martin.

Golden State wouldn't go quietly. Jarrett Jack scored eight points in the first 2:46 of the fourth quarter, and after a Curry three-pointer with 5:58 remaining, the Thunder lead was suddenly down to seven, at 105-98.

After an OKC timeout, the Thunder went on a 10-4 run with three-pointers by Durant and Martin sandwiched around a Westbrook jumper being the exclamation points that put the game away. Durant assisted on Martin's three, giving him 10 assists and his first career triple-double.

The Thunder has two off to prepare for a huge home matchup against the L.A. Clippers on Wednesday night. Tip time is set for 6:30 p.m.
