Small Earthquake Recorded Near Covington Friday Night

COVINGTON, Oklahoma -

A small earthquake was recorded near Covington, Oklahoma, Friday night.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 3.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 10:49 p.m. Friday. Its epicenter was located five miles southeast of Covington, eight miles east of Douglas, and 54 miles north of Oklahoma City.

It was about two miles deep.

No injuries or damage were reported during this earthquake.
