One person was taken to a local hospital after being shot in the hand at an apartment complex in northeast Oklahoma City, Friday night.

It happened at a complex located at 215 N.E. 28th St.

Police were called to the scene after a witness reported hearing three gunshots.

The injuries to the victim are considered non-critical. That person's identity has not been released.

Police are investigating the cause of the shooting.
