Diesel Spill Shuts Down One Northbound Lane Of I-35, At SE 51st

OKLAHOMA CITY -

One lane of northbound Interstate-35 has been shut down due to leaking diesel fuel near SE 51st St., Friday afternoon.

Crews with the Oklahoma City Fire Department are on scene trying to clean up the spill, approximately 25 gallons.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers were called in to control traffic while crews work to clean the spill. Water quality was also called into assist in the event the spill makes it to the drainage system.

It is unclear what caused the leak at this time.
