BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -

Broken Arrow Police are investigating the theft of remains from an above-ground tomb at Floral Haven Cemetery on South 129th East Avenue.

Police say cemetery workers discovered the damaged tomb on Monday and called police.

Officers determined someone had removed skeletal remains from inside the tomb.

Broken Arrow Police have not released the name of the person buried in the tomb because they're attempting to locate and inform family members.

Police are asking that anyone with information about the theft to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
