Hefner Pkwy To Close Nightly Due To Construction On Kilpatrick

OKLAHOMA CITY -

The north and southbound lanes of State Highway 74, also known as Lake Hefner Parkway, will close nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning on Friday, Nov. 9 through Nov. 16 due to construction projects on the Kilpatrick Turnpike.  

Traffic will be detoured at Memorial Rd. during the closure.

Construction crews will be setting bridge beams on the Kilpatrick Turnpike over Lake Hefner Parkway as part of the ongoing widening project of the pike.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible and plan alternate routes.
