Bison volleyball player, junior Kristin Pressley, was named Sooner Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for Oct. 29-Nov. 4.

Pressley's teammate Gabby Samuels was also honored with Libero of the Week.

Pressley is an outside hitter from Mansfield, Texas. She averaged 5.6 kills and 5.2 digs per set in SAC-clinching wins over Wayland Baptist and Lubbock Christian. She had 20-20 matches both contests in kills and digs, while also collecting four aces and 1.5 blocks.

Samuels is a senior from Norman. She was perfect in 49 reception attempts and averaged five digs per set on the week.

The Bison will play again when they host the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament this weekend (Friday, Nov. 9 and Saturday, Nov. 10). The winner of that tournament will get an automatic berth to the NAIA tournament.
