It's Been One Year Since Oklahoma's 5.6 Magnitude Earthquake

Monday marks the first anniversary of the record-breaking earthquake which rattled a large part of Oklahoma. The 5.6 magnitude quake struck near the town of Sparks.

The quake caused severe damage to a building on the campus of Saint Gregory's University in Shawnee. It knocked down one of the four turrets on top of Benedictine Hall and damaged the other three.

The university says it's rebuilding the turrets and will make them earthquake proof.

Last year's earthquake beat out a 5.5 magnitude earthquake that hit near El Reno in 1952.
