Broken Arrow police are looking for a hit-and-run driver in the death of pedestrian Friday night. They say a man was walking eastbound on the north side of Washington (91st Street South) near Dogwood at about 11:30 p.m. when he was struck and killed by a westbound vehicle.
The man's name is being withheld until family members are informed of his death.
Sergeant Ed Ferguson with the Broken Arrow Police Department said although there were no witnesses to the collision, evidence at the scene indicates the man was struck by a white or silver vehicle that should have damage to the front and windshield on the passenger side.
They are looking for a 1998 to 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck or Blazer as a "possible vehicle related to the collision," Ferguson said in a news release.
The driver continued driving west on Washington, according to the release.
Anyone with information on the hit-and-run fatality wreck is asked to call Broken Arrow Police at 918-259-8400 or Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
