A man accused in a murder-for-hire plot is now suspected of assaulting a fellow inmate at the Oklahoma County jail.

Brodric Glover, 20, is accused of killing Jessica McPherson-Brown of Midwest City. Police say McPherson-Brown's estranged husband, Fabion Brown, paid Glover to kill his wife. Her body was found in her home in January. A neighbor called police after seeing her young children playing in the street alone.

Glover has been charged with first-degree murder in that case.

On October 23, Lonnie Leon Easter, an inmate at the Oklahoma County Detention Center, was sent to OU Medical Center after suffering a head trauma. He told investigators Glover attacked him while they were in a cell.

An investigator spoke with Glover. Glover said Easter attacked him first, and he feared for his life. He said he only acted to protect himself.

Because of the assault, Glover could be charged with assault and battery.
