OKLAHOMA CITY -

Downtown Oklahoma City finally has a grocery store.

Native Roots market opened at 2nd Street and Walnut two weeks ago.  The 2,400 square foot market is located in the southeast corner first-floor space of the "Level" apartment complex.

Thirty free parking spots for Native Roots customers can be found in Level's parking garage.

Native Roots owner Matt Runkle says he's excited to finally open.

"We are spooling up to do a lot of prepared foods.  We will be an actual market that responds to you," he said.

Runkle and his wife Sara used to own the original Native Roots market in Norman.
