Tulsan Ordered To Stand Trial On Kidnapping, Rape Charges

TULSA, Oklahoma -

A judge has ordered a man accused of kidnapping and raping a Tulsa woman to stand trial.

Christopher Cardwell, 26, was bound over following a hearing in Tulsa County court. 

His accuser, who wished to be known only as Kaitlin, spoke with News On 6 following Cardwell's August 27th arrest. She told us Cardwell was an acquaintance and they were out together when Cardwell attacked her. Kaitlin said he used duct tape to bind her hands and cover her mouth before raping her.

Cardwell is scheduled back in court on November 5th. He remains in the Tulsa County jail where he is being held without bond.
