Department Of Corrections: Two Tulsans Escape From McAlester Prison

Authorities say two men from Tulsa housed at the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center in McAlester escaped from the facility Wednesday morning.

Authorities say two men from Tulsa housed at the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center in McAlester escaped from the facility Wednesday morning.

Prison officials say 22-year-old Jeffery Walker, who was serving a sentence for robbery with a firearm and 27-year-old Terry Buckley, who was serving a sentence for possession of a controlled and dangerous substance were last seen walking away from the center.

Both men were wearing gray jackets at the time.

Walker, a black male, 5-foot-6, 161 pounds and was set to be released in April of next year and Buckley, a black male, 5-foot-8, 156 pounds was set for release in 2023.

Authorities are looking in McAlester and Tulsa for both men.

If anyone sees or knows where Walker and Buckley are, they are asked to call the Oklahoma Department of Corrections escapee Hot Line at 866-363-1119.

This is the third escape from this McAlester prison within the past week.  On October 26th, Alvin Boyer, 27, of Joplin, Missouri escaped from the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center. 

Boyer remains at large.
