Several people have been brought to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department to be questioned. The sheriff tells News 9 he is going to be briefed by the OSBI on the case.

It was last Wednesday that two people driving along a dirt road near N.E. 150th and Pottawatomie county Road spotted a body lying nearby.

That body has been identified as 35-year-old Gustavo Barragan Valencia. The Sheriff says he is an illegal immigrant out of Mexico who had been living with his cousin in Oklahoma City since June.

He was found with his arms and legs bound, a pillow case over his head, and he had been shot twice in the back of the head.

It also appears the body had been dumped and dragged to the spot it was found.

Now, the Sheriff says this appears to be tied to a home invasion and kidnapping that happened earlier that day and that occurred less than a mile from where the body was found.

He says many of the people they are interviewing have been high on meth since early last week and their stories keep changing.

The sheriff says witnesses claim both Valencia and his cousin have been missing since October 15.

That cousin is yet to be found but authorities say they think he is still alive.
